Hello everyone and welcome.
It is with a heavy heart that I just learned that a great club member of HOT just passed away. Richard Leparmentier.  Richard was just visiting with us this weekend.  He played at Pease Park and did demonstration games with his son at Art City Austin.  Richard appeared in over 50 films but he was a legend in Star Wars as General Motti. For us he was part of our petanque family.  We will miss him so much.  He was a skilled player and loved the game.  He will play the game where ever he was filming. He was part of a Petanque club in England as well. We love you.  A+ Love Arsene

Our condolences goes out to his family.

  1. I’ll have to watch “Star Wars” in rememberance of him on the weekend. He gave Darth Vader one of his classic moments. Richard was also good in “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” one of my favorite films. His family will be in my prayers, God bless him and them.
