HOT NEWS! GETTING READY FOR A PANACHE TOURNAMENT, CAROUSEL STYLE.

Hello everyone and welcome.

This Sunday we have for clubs members only, a Panache Tournament at the French legation Museum.  It is a  Carousel triplette style meaning your partners are  selected at random  and you change partners every time you play a new game.  Like always before a tournament we have to prepare the courts .  Under Ed Priest and John Luther supervision, we groomed and  clean up  all them and we even put together some benches just donated the day before to the Legation.  So everyone can seat and enjoy watching games as well as appreciate the beauty, the stillness and the magic of this magnificent Museum.  We even had a surprise visit from Larry Roselle, past President of French alliance in Fresno as well one of the original Board member of the Fresno Petanque Club. He had some business in Austin and quickly came to see the courts before catching a plane back to Fresno. Also a few day before at the Legation,  Christophe Chambers the FPUSA Sport Director came to give to Rick Armstrong and Arsene Dupin their official Umpire card, sweet we  even got a FPUSA cap and a ruling tape,  thank you. The Panache tournament is open to the public if you want to come and watch the games. Sunday May 25, starting at 9:00 am sharp. A+ Love ArseneEd priest on left, John Luther on right.
