Hello everyone and welcome.

Last Sunday afternoon at the French Legation Museum, the University of Texas French Club came to learn the game of petanque with the Heart of Texas Petanque Club.   About a year ago I had the opportunity to meet with the French Club and  one of the students at the time is now the President of the Club, Julia Haschke.  She came with a great group of young students. Some of them had heard about the game because they were from la Côte d’Ivoire and  for some  it was totally new. But they were very enthusiastic about learning and spent the whole day playing. They also had the chance to speak a little French with some of the natives of France.   It was a full day of experiencing  a slice of the French  culture.  Thank you for coming to visit us and thank you to one the Heart of Texas Petanque Club teacher Micheal Hillis.  Come back soon to play with us again.

A+ Love Arsene
