HOT NEWS! MORE ABOUT PLAYING IN FRANCE.

Hello everyone and welcome.

When you are a guest in a club of petanque or anywhere for that matter, you just don’t come in and start changing the furnitures.    You feel things around, you play your best but you adapt to their rules, to their way of playing, to their way of having fun together,  to their way of welcoming, to their way of winning, to their way of loosing.   Especially playing in France it is not easy to be welcomed by players to let you be part of a team, even if you are native.   But if you behave like a guest eventually people will naturally welcome you and they will take the time to introduce you to other members and sometime even give you the opportunity to play with the top players.    Well today it was my day!  I got introduced to play for my first time with players who were way way way above my level ( Champion of France level)  It was a very very humbling experience, but I did good.  Just like once when I had the unique opportunity to play against Marco Foyot ( World Champion ) and now I am able to keep that moment in my mind for ever. I learned so much from it and I will be able to approach games against real touch players with better confidence.

A+ Love Arsene
